The Providence Athenaeum has a wonderful art collection, including busts of illustrious persons, both ancient and modern, that have been donated over the decades. All of the busts, however, were white men – until the Bust Project. Join us to learn how the Athenaeum worked with renowned sculptor Robert Shure to diversify the collection using traditional Renaissance techniques.
