With turnout expected to be low, rallying the base is key
Candidates are in the final stretches of the 2023 election season, with each ramping up campaigns to turn out the vote in these typically low-turnout elections. Early, in-person voting has already begun with Gov. Phil Murphy placing his ballot on Saturday, the first official day of in-person voting. Mail-in ballots can also be submitted now at drop-boxes that are also scattered around each county.
