Distracted driving is leading cause of traffic fatalities in the state

More than a fifth of NJ motorists drive distracted, according to a study conducted by Rowan University. Tracy Noble of AAA Mid-Atlantic says that distracted driving is the leading cause of traffic fatalities in the state; it accounts for 25% of fatal crashes. And, no surprise, the use of cellphones is the most common form of distracted driving.
