Cycling and pedestrian advocates in New Jersey are taking steps to educate drivers about the Safe Passing Law. The legislation went into effect on March 1 and aims to keep pedestrians, cyclists and other vulnerable groups safe while sharing the road with cars by using due caution. But advocates say the problem is a lot of drivers don’t know about it.
